A team project on producing and developing a line for a new store. The team did research on who the target customer was and who their competitors are. To figure out what apparel pieces to bring in the team had to do research from the Spring 2017 season. Finally, put together a line plan, color story, packaging, and assortment plan for the new line. Finally, the store needs to be know to the target customers by having a market strategy and a launch invitation of the new line.

Identifying a "White Space" opportunity within an existing retail store brand. Creating a strong proposal to secure management funding of this new growth opportunity. Building an assortment plan for this classification and developing a 6 month plan including a marketing/ promotional strategy. Creating a store of my own by doing research on the target customer (demographics, lifestyle, values), location (state, region, street, rent) store layout/ design, and financials.

A team project that is figuring out a market plan for a subscription website. Subscription websites being the new hot thing for shopping the team did research on how to make their subscription better and customer friendly. First the team did research by doing a literature review, figuring who their competitors are, and figuring out questions to future customers. With all the information the group figured out a 14 part marketing plan.

A competitive shopping project were the class had to go to different stores to see what the key items were for the Spring 2016 season. Key items such as: colors, prints, fabrics, details, and accessories.

Researched the new trends for the Spring 2017 season and found the four themes that would be dominate that season. Presentation included four mood boards with magazine pictures, fabric swatches, color swatches, and fastenings.

A history of fashion report that is focused on the 1950s decade. The report focused on what were the key silhouettes, fabrics, colors, and prints for mostly women, but men and teens too. Also, in the report what influenced these fashions to happen being politics, music, culture, travel or entertainment.

Learning how to design store elements (floor map, planogram, facade) corresponding to my store/brand inspiration and merchandise plan. Matching store concepts with customer's profile and apparel style sold in the store.

Researched a new trend for the upcoming spring/summer season and found a theme to apply to it. Presentation included a mood board, color board, two croquis/flats boards, inspirational photos, and a research document about the trend. Created all elements of the presentation using Illustrator and Photoshop.

Developed a poster, promotional video, and a report of the fashion school store. Identified the mission/goal, target market, merchandising categories, and competitors in the report. Designed a poster displaying the store’s purpose using only symbols and visual clues. Promoted the store in a 2-minute video that purely employed visuals and sounds.
